A story of how a dog with no eyes saved a broken hearted girl
Friends I have a magical story about a special dog and a beautiful girl with a broken heart. Beau came into The Arrow Fund in awful condition. Both os his eyes had ruptured and his ear conceals were closed from severe infection. On top of everything else he was also diagnosed with the Parvo Virus.
The Arrow Fund volunteers rushed Beau to the Bannon Woods Veterinary Hospital where Dr. Adrienne Robertson was there when Beau arrived. The staff nurtured Beau as he recovered from having surgery to remove his eyes and as he fought the Parvo Virus.
The thing that brought tears to rescuer’s eyes was all Beau wanted to do was hug the doctor. He is so scared. Vet staff actually took off trading shifts to just hold Beau. The staff at the Veterinary Hospital just wanted him to feel safe.
Beau’s new mommy who adopted him is named Krista. She recently lost her brother and just 2 weeks ago her only dog named Chancie passed away.
Krista’s heart was shattered until she happened to see a video of Beau on facebook. She knew Beau was meant to be hers. Now, with his new mommy, Beau and Krista are healing each other.
I have happy tears in my eyes as I write this article. Sometimes in the animal rescue world we only see that worst in humans. This story is here to remind you the best of humans and how an animal has the power to change someones life.
We thank you. All of this would not be possible without your support. Thank you for helping us save these innocent victims of abuse.
