Charlie was found homeless missing his eyes & shivering in fear
Where are this kitten's eyes? Sad, blind and homeless, this is the life a tiny kitten has been living.
Atlanta, GA: He was brought in as a stray after being found on the street not being able to navigate at all because he can't see, again, he has no eyes! We don't know why he is missing his eyes or how he didn't end up dead on the street being this tiny, blind and only 0.75lbs. Our partners at Second Chance Rescue NYC immediately agreed to take him in knowing time was of the essence.
He has a name for the first time, meet little Charlie Smols. He has conjunctivitis, he is sneezing and has yellow discharge. We have zero information on who or what did this since he was found as a stray.
Charlie Smols is now under the care of Dr. Terry, one of the top veterinarians in Atlanta. He is so such a brave and strong tiny thing. I can’t imagine how scared he must have been and I am so grateful he is safe. But, we need your help!
Smols will need surgery costing Second Chance Rescue NYC thousands and that is funds rescues simply do not have. We are sponsoring his surgery with one of our Holiday gifts you see. Please consider donating, sponsoring his surgery and sharing his story. Together we can change his life!
