Since he is a stray, the only option the animal hospital has is to send him to the city municipal shelter or, find a rescue willing to help. One look at Jose and Second Chance Rescue couldn’t even imagine him traveling to a shelter and sitting there in agonizing pain and potentially dying alone in a cage.
Jose’s jaw was degloved in the accident, which means that the skin was torn off from the underlying tissue. Despite all of this, he is very affectionate and allows handling. He must know rescuers are here to help.
We could really use your support in covering Jose’s medical expenses. With every purchase made, we will deliver a life-saving donation directly to Second Chance Rescue to care for Jose. Rescuers will never give up on Jose and nor will we!
