Meghan Memorial: Crossed Over The Rainbow Bridge

Meghan Memorial: Crossed Over The Rainbow Bridge

With great sorrow, we share with you this morning that Puppy Meghan passed away at 2 am this morning. The medical team and Second Chance Rescue NYC tried everything they could to bring her back. She died in the arms of her rescuers.

She was found lifeless in someone's backyard and SCR NYC immediately stepped in to save her. She was rushed to Blue Pearl Emergency Hospital where doctors and medical staff immediately went into action to try and save her. But, after hours of emergency care, puppy Meghan was in organ failure and then slipped into a coma due to the sepsis that consumed her tiny body. She then went into cardiac arrest.

Second Chance Rescue NYC reached for the stars and the moon for the impossible, and sometimes these miracles present themselves, and other times they don't.

We would like to find justice for Meghan. She never should have been put in this position and this type of neglect takes weeks. I sat down and with tears in my eyes, I drew this portrait of Meghan and created the Meghan Memorial Fund to help. Rescuers spared no expense trying to save her and we are here to help sponsor those funds so they can continue to fight for more Meghans!

You guys have always been here to support me and my work and I cannot thank you enough. Puppy Meghan we just met you, but we all loved you.
