Skippy: Unable to control legs and struggling to survive with Parvo
Skippy is back in the ICU! It's been a gutting 72hrs having to resave Skippy. He finally has started to eat on his own. We were very worried we were going to lose him and have another Canon on our hands. This dog's body has been through a lot. He's only a year old. We want to thank his medical foster mom Sheri (Ema lou and peanuts litter foster) for not leaving his side. Sheri has not left Skippys side. She sits next to his medical cage in the hospital and sings to him, strokes him, and tells him to fight. Sheri, your dedication to this dog has not gone unnoticed.
Aside from his medical team, Sheri is not letting him die. When Skippy opens his weak eyes, he sees Sheri's love. You can either look at the pain, the loss and the unbearable. Or you can look for the beauty, the grace.. the miracle. Love will save this dog.
Skippy is the hero in his own brave journey, he doesn't know he is different & he doesn't see the world as such a bad place for him. He is a very trusting & loving dog. But, with Parvo, Skippy needs all of us to help him survive. With each and every purchase of the products below, we can help fund Skippy's medical care.
