Tally: Dumped in the Middle of Nowhere with Just Her Blankets
Dumped in the middle of nowhere, Tally was found with just her blankets and an infected wound on your leg! The location where she was found was a desolate area of Donna, Texas. There were few who passed by, but luckily someone did and called the ACO of Donna, Texas to report "an injured dog in a pile of blankets".
Upon arrival, the ACO reported that she refused to leave the blankets as that was her "safe" place. She was extremely shut down and heartbroken. She went belly-up when they attempted to pick her up. And, she refused to make eye contact with any human and turned her back to any human that approached her.
In a nutshell, Tally was so shut down.
The blankets were a tell-tale sign that someone just dumped her there...injured, abandoned and all alone. Did these owners really take solice in leaving her wrapped in blankets? It is hard to tell their true intentions, but we can only speculate.
Dallas DogRRR has Tally in their care and they immediately rushed her to the vet for a full examination and surgery to fix her wounds.
