Mr. Bigglesworth had only hours before he was going to die.
A shelter in South Texas reached out to Dallas DogRRR and sent pictures of Mr. Bigglesworth. We were lost for words at the brutal condition this sweet dog is in. Literally breaking down in tears knowing they did not have much longer until he would die. We created his shirts, hoodies, bags and bracelets to help us rescue this innocent victim.
How this dog was disposed of in this condition is unimaginable. What was done to him is nothing short of torture. The shelter was begging for our help as it was DDRRR, or no one at all. He had no other chance of getting out alive. Of course, we said yes and the first thing we did was create this page to help his rescue raise funds for Bigglesworth’s life saving care as he was being rushed to the Emergency Vets.
He is in critical condition. Initial testing found no mange, yet this boy shows clumps of hair spread sporadically across his raw skin. 90% of his body is composed of nothing but sore scabby skin. His yellowed nails are curled around his paws and no doubt causing him severe discomfort. This is some of the longest nails vet techs have seen. He has bloody sores on his legs. He is anemic, shows some thyroid issues and his teeth are completely rotten. The smell is unbearable. As you can see in the photos the tartar is thick and contains decomposing hair and food. This was his desperate attempt to survive.
We need YOUR help! Let's rally around DogRRR's and help save this boy. We have no idea what the road to recovery is going to be like for this sweet soul, but we do know it will take financial and emotional commitment. Get your Mr/ Bigglesworth shirts, hoodies, bags and bracelets and give him the care he needs. I know with your help he will survive! We need you now more than ever.
