Boomer: Puppy dragged behind a car now suffering from kidney failure.
Just when you think you have seen it all. We recently saved Boomer after he was DRAGGED by a car in! He had the most horrific wounds we'd ever seen. He spent a few weeks in RDR's SC vet partner on antibiotics, healing. Sadly, he is now fighting for his life once again.
Sadly, Boomer's system was resistant to these antibiotics and his infection was at a very dangerous level. A culture was sent out and it was discovered there were only 2 antibiosis he was not resistant to. They were both injectable and ordered by the vet.
Boomer had an amazing home waiting in NY, so we got him up here on a private transport so his new family could care for him at home. After just 6 DAYS on these new antibiotics, Boomer grew very ill. To everyone's astonishment and dismay, Boomer's new medications had put him in kidney FAILURE!
Boomer's rescue family at Rescue Dogs Rock is pulling out all the stops to save his precious life! Boomer survived HORRIFIC abuse in SC. We are not going to give up on him now when he desperately needs us to fight for his life. He's spent the past 2 days at Cornell on an IV, had a blood transfusion and medications.
Our last resort to save Boomer's life is dialysis and UPENN is the only place close enough to take him, so he's being rushed there as we speak. Boomer is a fighter & a survivor. He is an innocent boy who didn't ask for any of this. His family needs ALL of our help to save him. We will do WHATEVER it takes.
We have partnered with Rescue Dogs Rock to help raise the funds needed for Boomer's recovery. Help us save another innocent victim abused and neglected! Please, if you are able, consider purchasing an item below to help save this babies life.
