Hunter's wife had to convince her husband not to kill 6 puppies.
This story is scary and bizarre. A hunter and his wife were on a hunting trip in the woods when the happen to stumble upon a box that had the words “shoot me” written on it. The wife bent down and slowly opened the box. What she discovered next shocked her.
The box held 6 sick and starving puppies inside! Instead of saving the puppies the hunter wanted to kill them! The wife of the hunter had to convince her husband not to kill them. Can you believe it? This is so disturbing.
The hunter then cocked his gun and was ready to shoot every puppy inside that box. Why, I do not know. Apparently, the words "shoot me" meant more to the hunter than the 6 lives breathing in the box.
Thank god the wife was able to reach out to rescuers and they rushed to get the puppies. She held her husband at bay long enough for volunteers to get there to take the puppies. Sadly, they discovered one of the puppies had an infected wound and swollen face. All puppies had been vomiting and bloody stools and diagnosed with untreated coccidia.
UPDATE 1-10-17: EMERGENCY: Three of our puppies are being rushed to the vet. They have been treated for coccidia but the damage to their intestinal lining might have been worst than we originally hoped. They are loosing fluids and cannot maintain weight. We have been fighting this since we got them and now it has taken a turn for the worst. We will be keeping them at the vet for fluids and hope for the best. One is doing worst than the others. Please pray for him. These puppies were first found in a sealed box in the woods by a hunter who wanted to shoot them.
To say we need your help is an understatement. This is something rescuers had not planned for and now they are trying to care for 6 very sick puppies receiving life saving care at an Emergency Clinic. Please, if you can, help us raise the funds needed. Everything you see here on their page from a tee shirt, hoodie, tote or bracelet can help give these innocent victims a second chance at life! Will you help them?
