Bug was hit by a car and left on the side of the road with brain trauma and unable to move.
This is just awful to watch. This puppy was hit by a car and left in the street. She was unable to walk or move because she sustained brain trauma from the hit and run.
We have created this campaign to help raise the funds rescuers need to save this baby girl’s life.
We just received an urgent plea for help from a partners at Second Chance Rescue. This puppy was hit by a car and left on the side of the road critically injured and in shock. As we try to wrap our minds around how any decent person can leave an animal suffering on the side of the road, we must act quickly and make a fast decision, because her life is depending on us. Aside from her own family not wanting her back, What we know.
This is bad bad bad......We will start by saying that there is a 95% chance she will be a wheelchair dog. Bug is recovering at Blue Pearl Specialty center after her surgery to her front right arm, her humerus was badly broken. Her back legs are fine BUT she can't move her two front legs AT ALL. We are on day 3 and some movement should have come forth by now..NOTHING.
SCR plan of action is the following: After she is able to leave emergency center we will emergency transport her to NYC for an intensive rehabilitation program. She will be there for a long time and the costs are almost $10,000 a month. And, NO, rescuers will not be putting her to sleep. She is worth every penny. She is a happy dog that is acclimating to her new situation. PLEASE HELP! Bills are out of control and SCR needs help now.
UPDATE: Bug is recovering at Blue Pearl Specialty center after her surgery to her front right arm, her humerus was badly broken. Her back legs are fine BUT she can't move her two front legs AT ALL. We are on day 3 and some movement should have come forth by now..NOTHING. So back legs great, front legs zilch! Bug has bilateral brachial plexus avulsion (both front legs). No biggie if this was occurring in one leg but now both is a very serious problem, this is very rare.
We have partnered with Second Chance Rescue to help raise the funds they need to save Bug. To help save this baby girl please consider purchasing one of her shirts, totes, bracelets and coffee mugs below. We have partnered with SCR to create these animal saving products to raise the funds needed to save Bug’s life.
