Cabo was strategically dumped in this condition to die!
This tiny 2.8 pound 5-month-old pup was strategically dumped in this condition to die! Our partners at The Arrow Fund took one look at her and knew if they didn't step up she would not make it. She is unable to walk, is severely anemic, has internal parasites, is teaming with fleas, has a wound on her back and is completely blind! This is horrible. We have created this campaign page to help us raise the funds needed to save her life.
They rushed tiny Cabo to the Emergency Clinic for life saving care. Today Cabo had a digital CT Scan and spinal fluid was pulled for testing. Cabo is receiving a blood transfusion after her PCV (Packed Cell Volume) fell to 17. It is most likely an injury from trauma causing her neurological issues and left her blind. Doctors need to get her stabilized. After the blood transfusion is complete she will be put on fluids and antibiotics.
How could anyone do this? Please keep Cabo close to your heart. We sure hope to see some neurological improvement soon. This is going to be an extensive and expensive recovery. Just for the CT Scan and spinal fluid test TAF was quoted between 2300.00 and 2700.00 dollars. Cabo is in a very critical state and we sure hope we can pull her through.
You can help by purchasing one of Cabo’s shirts, tanks or totes below. We have partnered with The Arrow Fund to create these animal saving products to raise the funds needed to save Cabo from this unbelievable abuse. With your help they can give her a new life full of love and pain free!
The Arrow Fund
