Captain was found by police after being attached and tied.

Last night a NYPD officer from the 71st Precinct came upon a young, sweet boy tied and abandoned. He is covered in attack wounds with his ear almost ripped off. Our friends at NYBC has now committed to Captain’s care and is taking over responsibilities for him.
Doctors started the procedure to rebuild his ear. He has multiple abscesses all over his body. His wounds were clipped, flushed and cleaned. He is on IV fluids, antibiotics and pain meds. Captain has multiple bite wounds all over his body, must are fresh wounds but some are older.
I have seen injuries like this before that were consistent with being used as bait.
This poor boy has lived a life of harm, neglect and now abandonment. He deserves more than this! He has been very gentle and sweet with the hospital staff but he seems defeated. Please help us give Captain the best care for his recovery and help find a loving, compassionate home for him to call his own.
UPDATE 7-3-19: Even after being abused and being in ICU for a week this sweetheart still wags his tail. His ear was repaired and drains were put into place. These drains will be removed. The rest of his wounds have started to heal and he has shown nothing but love to his rescuers at New York Bully Crew. Please continue to help if you can!
We are sponsoring Captain and his emergency care. We have created the animal saving products you see below to help raise the funds needed to cover the costs. We ask that you consider purchasing one of the items below and help support New York Bully Crew.
