Chito was found disfigured from tumors and infection.
His poor face and body are covered in infection and tumors. New York Bully Crew has a volunteer on the ground in Peru. She was traveling on the back of scooter when she saw this horribly disfigured stray dog. She immediately scooped him up and drove with the dog in her lap straight to the hospital.
Stray dogs are treated horribly in Peru and most are kicked, abused and even killed. New York Bully Crew knew if they didn’t step in this puppy would die in the streets. They have named him Chito.
Chito was taken to the top veterinary clinic in Peru. Although he is safe Chito is very scared. Once at the vet clinic Chito was diagnosed with TVT tumors, anemia, ehrlichia, mange and the tumors are horribly infected. New York Bully Crew has committed to saving his life but for that we are asking for your help for our friends.
UPDATE 6-3-19: Chito's journey is just beginning. Chito was trying to survive and living among garbage. The TVT transmissible venereal tumors on his face and his sinus cavity are badly infected and pus is oozing from his eyes. All of these ailments are the result of being a neglected street dog due to unwanted pregnancy. Rescuers at New York Bully Crew are asking for your help in giving him the treatment he needs.
Our partners at New York Bully Crew need your support. We have created the animal saving products you see below to help raise the funds to help and give Chito the second chance at life he deserves. Please consider purchasing something below to help and share his story with your family and friends.
