Dobbie's skin is coming off in chunks.
We have created this campaign to help raise the funds needed to save a abused dog who was dumped like trash.
I don’t know where to begin. Our partners at Little Lotus Rescue & Sanctuary just took on one of the worst cases of abused they have seen. A very small puppy was found by a Good Samaritan. His body is covered in a raging infection, one of the worst cases of mange and thick cracked bleeding skin.
Dobbie was find after being left in this condition. Rescuers know nothing about what happened or who did this. Since we was taken in as a stray there is little known. When he was transferred in to LLR, he couldn't stand on his own. His skin was coming off in chunks and the skin that was left was burned by the sun for so long that it held a pattern even after the chunks came off.
He is incredibly emaciated and unable to stretch his body out. He is being treated at the ER Vet as they try to stabilize him. Now we are asking for your help in saving his life.
We have partnered with Little Lotus Rescue to help raise the funds they need to save tiny Dobbie. To help save him please consider purchasing one of his shirts, totes, bracelets and coffee mugs below. With every purchase you can help us cover his emergency care and save Dobbie’s life! PLEASE HELP!
UPDATE! Dobbie has come a long way and will be looking for his very own person soon. He is still a bit shy and gets overwhelmed at times. He likes to play with his 4 legged roomies and also enjoys snuggling on the couch.
Little Lotus Rescue & Sanctuary
Little Lotus Rescue & Sanctuary is an organization in southern Arizona that changes the fate of homeless animals. The volunteer-run rescue lifts the animals out of the shelter system, placing them instead in loving, temporary foster homes. Many of these animals are ill, injured, or suffering from malnourishment, so we attain the necessary medical care to return them to health. Every animal is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Loving foster parents, Veterinarians, and an certified animal behaviorist help them overcome physical and psychological issues to again be healthy, happy pets ready for their permanent homes.
