Eggo is fighting for her tiny life.

Eggo is fighting for her tiny life.

This is one of those cases that just breaks our heart. The shelter has just called our painters at Second Chance Rescue NYC about this not even 5 week old Puppy, Eggo. This tiny new born is only 2 pounds, disoriented and can't see. She cannot eat and she is pooping giant worms. I know this is graphic but this is the reality she is facing. Please help.

The puppy can't stop crying and she was brought in off the field as a stray. There is nothing more heartbreaking than watching this poor little baby in such agony. Rescuers have rushed the tiny Eggo to their emergency vet for life saving care. The first step is stabilizing her then starts the long process of rehabilitation.

Since this happened on a Sunday night the only option was to rush Eggo to their specialty center. As of this morning, she is more bright and alert and is starting to eat. Rescuers are very concerned about this puppy having hydrocephalus or distemper and that has been ruled out. Her temperature has regulated to 99.9.

Please help SCR pull this miracle off, this is not the way things are supposed to be for these innocents, you can't get any lower than this we are calling on all angels now.

We have partnered with SCR NYC to help raise the funds they need to save tiny Eggo. Her veterinary bills are in the thousands including life saving emergency care at the special center. That is not the type of funds rescuers have.

UPDATE: It has been a wild 48hrs for little two pound Eggo and she seems to be feeling a lot better. Please enjoy this beautiful moment between Eggo and Dr Terry's team. The most beautiful things in life are not JUST things... they are little babies like Eggo who we create moments, memories, share laughter and smiles with. Once again, Thank you everyone!

To help save these animals please consider purchasing one of her shirts, totes, bracelets and coffee mugs below. We have partnered with SCR NYC to create these animal saving products to raise the funds needed to save Eggo.
