Foxtrot: Two legged dog needs her wheelchair!
Earlier today, The Arrow Fund team drove to Owensboro, so that we could retrieve Foxtrot, a Chihuahua (mix) puppy, and take her into their care.
T.A.F. vets estimate Foxtrot to be approximately 5 months of age. While she does not have any front legs, she does get around remarkably well. It will be of great importance that Foxtrot does not walk upright, as so many 2-legged dogs do. She was found by a police officer and taken to a shelter in Daviess County , Kentucky. The Arrow Fund quickly stepped up to help her .
The Arrow Fund just had a custom cart built for her . It shipped today from Orthopets in Colorado. They will also be looking at other options, including prosthetics, to aid in her mobility. All this precious dog has been asking for is love. She was amazingly calm during the ride home, cuddling on Rebecca's lap. We have created this campaign to help pay for her new wheelchair and continued care! Please consider purchasing an item above to help save this baby girl!
