Glenn's wounds are infested with maggots.
I know these images and video are hard to watch but we must share what they did to Glenn. He survived being strangled. Glenn is in very critical condition. Rescuers rushed him to their emergency vet for life saving surgery. First he was given pain medications and a blood transfusion. He just had surgery to repair a hernia caused from a trauma injury that had his intestines twisted in there. He also had his belly emptied out because it was full of debris. Glenn is very bruised in the area where his kidneys are. Doctors are monitoring his kidneys.
When Glenn arrive at the vets they were horrified at how infested his wounds were with maggots. It was the worst they have ever seen. The wounds with maggots are still being flushed. Please keep baby Glenn close to your heart. He is still very serious and his condition is guarded.
Rebecca of TAF writes, “Donations are so appreciated. I think you know we have been hit really hard lately with some very serious cases . The level of care that our animals require is very costly. “
“Thank you friends for supporting us as we help these innocent victims of severe abuse , torture , and neglect . We could not do what we do without you …”Now they need our help! The Arrow Fund is a licensed Non Profit Organization and rely solely on donations to continue their life-saving work. They cannot do this without us.
This is where we are asking for your help! We have partnered with TAF to create these animal saving shirts, sweaters and accessories to raise the funds needed to save little Glenn. Everything from a tee to a bracelet can help TAF give him the care he needs to heal both mentally and physically from this horrible abuse.
The Arrow Fund
The Arrow Fund provides medical treatment to Kentuckiana animals who have been the victims of torture or extreme forms of abuse and neglect. By highlighting these cases, we strive to educate the public regarding the ongoing problem of animal cruelty and the need to strengthen Kentuckiana's animal welfare laws.
