Hunter was intentionally starved and then locked in an abandoned building.
We are heartbroken. Hunter has been tortured through starvation. Hunter was rescued in Baltimore after he'd been starved almost to death. He was locked in an abandoned building with NO food or water. He wouldn’t have made it if it wasn't for his rescue.
This poor baby is a walking skeleton and very lucky to be alive! He's about 5 years old and believe it or not only weight 37 pounds! This is half of what he should weigh. To make matters worse he has pressure sores from his fragile little body lying on hard concrete for days on end. These sores are huge gaping holes where you can literally see into his body. The sore on his hip is so deep you can see bone and tendons. His sores are now infected, abscessed and unfortunately had to be lanced.
This poor innocent dog! Where is his Christmas miracle?! He was used, abused and then tossed out like yesterday's garbage. Who does that? Well this ends today. Today we made a promise to save his life and that is exactly what we are going to do sweet Hunter. Please help us make Hunter whole again and give him the life he deserves!
UPDATE 12-31-16 : Hunter has stollen our hearts. One look at this sweet boys face and you just know… He is so special. Hunter's largest pressure sore wound is finally starting to heal. Its still very deep but doctors are seeing new skin growth. Our hearts break for this poor dog's suffering. For those new to Hunter, he was starved, locked in an abandoned building in Baltimore. He is only 5 years old.
You can help save Hunter by purchasing one of his shirts, hoodies, totes or bracelets that donate to his medical care! These make great gifts and each and every one helps save this innocent soul. Help us give Hunter the second chance at life he deserves.
