Iris's owner watched her suffer then dumped her to die at a shelter.
This poor baby is Iris. Rescue Dogs Rock picked her up from a high kill shelter in Greenwood, SC. She was an owner surrender and we have no idea what kind of horror she endured! I cant believe someone can watch their pet deteriorate like this then dump her at the shelter to die when she needs them the most. Unbelievable.
RDR rushed tiny Iris to the closest ER Vet. Here’s her list of medical needs. Her eye is obviously destroyed and pyometra are urgent. So ruptured eye with lens on outside, pyometra, tons of fleas and ticks and she is infested with hook worms. I know she had a lot going against her but I know, with your help, we can save this babies life.
Little 6 pound, 3 year old Iris obviously lived outside and wasn't given any kind of care. Sickening isn't it?! Then once she had life threatening issues going on, she was carelessly discarded like garbage at the local shelter! Truly disgusting. The only upside to this story is that Iris will have emergency surgery today and never return to her horror of a life! This is our promise to her.
She is just a victim of abuse and neglect and doesn't deserve to be in pain like this. Can you help Iris? Rescue Dogs Rock is a licensed Non Profit Organization and rely solely on donations to continue their life-saving work. They cannot do this without us.
This is where we are asking for your help! We have partnered with RDR to create these animal saving shirts, sweaters and accessories to raise the funds needed to save this innocent victim. With your help they can save her from this unthinkable abuse and neglect. Everything from a tee to a bracelet can help this baby heal both mentally and physically.
