Jazzy was found by herself destroyed from years of neglect.
We are asking for your support. I know this is hard to see but we cannot turn a blind eye. Dallas Dog RRR has stepped up to save her life.
So, here's what we know about little Jazzy. She was picked up as a stray in a suburb of Dallas yesterday. No collar, no chip.Terrible diminished condition. She has various health issues including a mouth full or rotten teeth. Jazzy’s blood work looks surprisingly good and she is a strong little thing.
The possibility is that she has been on her own a very long time OR that she just went stray after a long period of neglect. I have some thoughts on this based on what I see in her behavior. She was in terrible shape, as the pictures show, and she does have some ongoing health and wellness concerns, but her situation tonight is greatly improved.
She just spent one overnight in the shelter before Dallas Dog RRR stepped up and rescued her. She was immediately taken to a vet, where she was stabilized and cleaned. She will remain in ICU quarantine at the emergency vets for 5 days. She is starting to blossom after getting a much needed grooming.
Vet staff say she is to sweetest girl, surprisingly mobile and strong. She is around 14 years old. Our partners at Dallas Dog RRR need your support. We have created the animal saving products you see below to help raise the funds to help and give Jazzy the second chance at life she deserves. Please consider purchasing something below to help and share her story with your family and friends.
UPDATE 7-17-19: I have an update on sweet Jazzy's fans and friends, here she is five days after her first round of dental work and today's spa-time. She is very active, eating well, engaged, and seems happy. I think even the partial extractions they were able to do relieved much of her discomfort! This little girl is making slow progress!! She is a very special senior who deserves a pain free loving life!
