Kato: Stuck with hundreds of porcupine quills!
Meet Kato, who was rescued today. This poor boy has porcupine quills embedded in his face, mouth, and neck causing serious and painful infections.
He will require multiple surgeries to remove them all and lots of antibiotics to help him heal afterwards. Unfortunately porcupine quills are quite common, but left untreated they can migrate and leave permanent and extremely painful damage. Which is why Kato is in such bad shape.
Please keep Kato in your thoughts and consider making a donation towards his care by purchasing one of our Kato saving shirts above! Every shirt, hoodie or accessory helps us give this boy a fighting chance!
