Linus was found rotting away in a shelter on the floor with no pain meds.

Linus was suffering and in pain on the concrete floor of a high kill shelter. His gums are white and he was not moving at all. We must help save this innocent baby. Our partners at Rescue Dogs Rock rushed to the shelter to save his life and now they need our help!

Linus is suffering from severe ear infections which have been attacked by maggots. In the video we shared you can see the maggots moving around in his ears. It gets worse. He has no front teeth and when found and brought to the shelter, a tooth was dangling and had fallen out leaving a huge gaping infected hole in his mouth. This guy has been through hell. I am so sorry about how graphic this is but we must focus on saving him.

The second video shows the inside of his mouth which is inflamed and infected. Linus needs immediate medical intervention or he will not survive. Believe it or not he sat at the shelter all weekend with no pain medication! I know this is frustrating but the shelter has no means for medical care. We cannot imagine how he made it through the weekend alive. RDR took one look and rushed him to the closest ER Vet. Rescuers just could not let him sit rotting away for another minute!

He's just a victim to abuse and neglect and doesn't deserve to be in pain like this. Can you help Linus? Rescue Dogs Rock is a licensed Non Profit Organization and rely solely on donations to continue their life-saving work. They cannot do this without us.

UPDATE 7-14-17:

Linus is sadly in very poor condition , suffering from severe ear infections that have been left untreated for months causing maggots to seep into the infected areas. In the second photo you can see a huge deep hole in his mouth where a canine tooth was. His Vet thinks the tooth was ripped out causing this hole. Additionally these photos reveal that poor Linus has no canines and that they have been filed down or pulled out by some evil human being. The doctor thinks he was used for bait or in some other horrific way. The suffering that Linus has endured is unimaginable. Today he will be put under to flush his ears out and get medicine in the ears to reduce the swelling and infection. His mouth will also be addressed and the deep hole in his mouth will be surgically closed. This procedure is just one of many that Linus will need as his ears and mouth will need multiple surgeries.

UPDATE 7-23-17:

Linus continues to heal at the NC vet from his severe ear infections and infected mouth. Linus certainly has the battle scars from a life of abuse both emotionally and physically. The medical staff stated at first that Linus was so depressed, dejected they did not think he had to the will to live. Fortunately with a lot of love and TLC shown to Linus by the staff, he has come out of his shell and is doing slightly better. We are hoping once he feels better and really knows he's safe, never in harms way again, he will completely turn around. Linus is young at only 2 years old and is very sweet and gentle and we vow to give him the life he was always meant to have.

This is where we are asking for your help! We have partnered with RDR to create these animal saving shirts, sweaters and accessories to raise the funds needed to save this innocent victim. With your help they can save him from this unthinkable abuse and neglect. Everything from a tee to a bracelet can help this baby heal both mentally and physically.

UPDATE 8-19-17:

RDR rescued Linus almost 2 months ago when they got an urgent plea from a shelter partner about a dog that was near death and dumped at the shelter Linus had multiple life threatening issues and was in severe pain as he lay on the cold cement shelter floor. They immediately agreed to help Linus and had him transported to RDR's Vet partner for life saving medical care Linus had severe ear infections in both ears that puss was oozing out and they were so inflamed. He has no teeth from years of eating a chain and rocks. Fast forward 2 months and today Linus is on transport to NY ready to meet his new parents! He was ADOPTED! Linus still needs dental surgery and heartworm treatment which RDR will give to him when he arrives here. But here is a dog that had no hope and now has a wonderful bright future ahead of him all because we knew we could make a difference in his life! This is the power behind a Hendrick & Co. tee, hoodie, tote and bracelet!

Rescue Dogs Rock has committed to giving Linus the dental surgery he needs to move onto his new home. If you would like to still contribute to his dental surgery you can purchase an item below. Thank you for believing in the amazing pup. He feels all of your love.
