Second Chance Rescue received notification from a shelter in Georgia that a severely emaciated "white" boxer was just found on the side of Interstate 85 in Atlanta. She is in one of the most heartbreaking conditions the rescue has ever witnessed.
Macy, as she has been named, was NOT hit by a car. She is just too weak to stand from years of neglect. Her Mouth is as WHITE as her gums are and her stool is like black tar. She is defeated, downtrodden and worn. It is very clear that we are NOT the majority when it comes to giving an animal unconditional love and respect.
The footage in the video makes us want to cry. A dog in this condition has a very long road ahead of her should she have any quality of life left. Why is Second Chance Rescue trying to save her today? Because she is owed and deserves to have someone give a damn about her.
This is Macy, and we want to help her. That's the least anyone can do for her right now. Volunteers are loading her up in the car to take her to a Specialty Hospital in Atlanta today.
I really don't know what else to say after witnessing this poor dog in this condition. We are all speechless.
Right now, we need your help. Every product and gift delivers a life-saving donation to help save Macy.
