Miracle was thrown out into the street infested with insects.
Friends I know this is graphic but we cannot not turn a blind eye to tiny Miracle. She is one of the tiniest victims of overpopulation and neglect I have ever seen. Completely innocent and new to this cruel world, Baby Miracle was thrown to the street to die alone in Venezuela. Her body is riddled with flea infestation and myiasis.
Wound myiasis occurs when fly larvae infest open wounds. It has been a serious complication of war wounds in tropical areas like Venezuela, and is sometimes seen in neglected wounds in most parts of the world. She has maggots living under the skin and she is starving. This poor baby can barely walk.
When we were sent this case we wept with heartache to think of how scared and alone she was for so long. Please help us save Baby Miracle. Please help us sponsor Miracle’s care so New York Bully Crew can continue to save these abused animals.
We are sponsoring her care them with one of our animals saving tees you see below. If you can consider one for yourself or a friend and help give Miracle get a second chance at life.
UPDATE 9/20/19: The good news is she has a healthy appetite and is so very tiny. Her skin is still very raw and the scabs are starting to heal as you can see from the photo. She had maggots living under the skin and she was starving. All the maggots have been removed and the large wound on her back has been closed. She is up and walking but still very shaky. She is still under around the clock care. Please help.
UPDATE 9/23/19: Please pray for Miracle! She has taken a turn for the worse. She stopped eating completely but is still drinking. She is with her doctors and they are doing all that they can but she is plagued with ehrlichia and anemia at such a young innocent age. She needs your prayers and love at this time!!! I will keep you update on her care.
Very Sad Update 9/24/19:
I have a very sad update from New York Bully Crew. They just posted this heartbreaking update on tiny Miracle.
With tears and broken hearts, we were notified that Baby Miracle is now an angel. There are no words to expressed the heartache. The human race failed her. She was born into pain and loneliness. She was innocent and did not deserve what her tiny body endured. The only solace is that her rescuers adored her and tried everything available to save her. They loved her and she passed having a family. Please do not let Miracle’s death be in vain. Please help us do better.
Please spay and neuter and be responsible for those around us.If it takes a village, then let every village come together to do better and make a difference.Baby Miracle, your tiny paws will make us move mountains in your memory.Rest peacefully Baby Miracle. You are loved beyond measure. #restpeacefullyBabyMiracle #babymiraclenybc
