Nary was found with a huge tumor in his mouth on the streets of Peru.
Nary was found bleeding on the streets of Peru. People have been walking by him, as if he didn't exist. He has an enormous tumor in his mouth. He is infested with fleas, ticks and flies. New York Bully Crew sent out a local volunteer to fine Nary. NYBC could not let this poor boy lie in pain.
Nary was transported to one of the best emergency clinics in Peru. He is severely anemic from losing so much blood. He will need to be stabilized with vitamins and supplements before he can tolerate any chemotherapy treatment for the cancerous tumor in his mouth.
At the Emergency Clinic there is another puppy named Munkee who doctors put in the same kennel with Nary because the puppy has helped Nary feel safe. This tiny puppy sleeps day and night next to Nary so he knows he is not alone. The are best friends now.
It is imperative to begin chemotherapy ASAP to give him some relief from that huge tumor in his mouth. New York Bully Crew have been working in Peru for years and know that with the proper care Nary will survive this horrible ordeal. For that we are asking for your support.
UPDATE 4-20-29: We are asking all our prayer warriors to please send out love, light and strength for our brave boy that is battling cancer. Tonight Nary began chemotherapy. We pray that he can overcome this dreadful disease so he can enjoy being a part of a loving community and worldwide family. Please continue to share his story and support his care.
UPDATE 4-22-19: The other night Nary began chemotherapy. Karina, Peruvian volunteer, said he tolerated it very well and had a good night sleep after. Yesterday she cooked some liver for him and his appetite was healthy. This is all an extremely important step in Nary's care. Please continue supporting Nary and his rescuers at New York Bully Crew because chemotherapy is extremely expensive. Thank you for your support!
UPDATE 5-22-19: It saddens us to announce the passing of the beloved Nary. The team at New York Bully Crew has spend the last month fighting for his life. Nary started chemotherapy a month ago but sadly his cancer was too aggressive and Nary crossed the rainbow bridge. He was saved from loneliness and living on the street with cancer and was brought into a home and was surrounded by kindness and compassion. He passed away in the arms of his foster and with his best friend by his side.
