Penny Blue: Doused with a caustic substance, abandoned in pain
Penny Blue is only 4 months old and has had a horrific start at life. She faced a caustic substance poured on her and was left abandoned, alone and in pain.
She was brought to Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department by an Animal Control Officer. She received the best care to heal her wounds. When it became time for her to finish her court hold, she met so many loving people who just could not resist her wiggly butt that Rebel Paws Rescue had to take her.
Penny Blue has never been anything more than stoic in her healing. Why "Penny Blue?" Well when this girl came in, she was covered in something blue and since it's a penny for your thoughts she was named "Penny Blue".
She found a wonderful foster parents and 3 other foster siblings. While this sweet girl still healing from her wounds, she is looking for her forever home. Her scars will be forever a reminder of the horrible abuse this baby suffered but she knows only love for all who meet her.
