Roxy and an abused elderly lady were found in the same home of a psychopath.
Mrs. Harper, 48, was arrested this past Monday on elderly abuse charges as well as animal abuse charges.
Police and Investigators responded to a complaint and found an elderly woman inside the residence. The elderly women had been locked in a room without air conditioning or proper ventilation for long periods of time. There was no running water and no food in the residence.
The elderly women was malnourished and had been physically assaulted by the caretaker. She was transported to a hospital. Now we need your help for an abused animal that was found inside the same home. Our partners at the Humane Society of Louisiana (HSL) immediately stepped in to save the badly abuse pup.

Humane Society of Louisiana
Our humane society was established in 1988. We operate two no-kill sanctuary: one for companion animals and one for farm animals. We are also a private detective agency, licensed by the state and one of our primary activities is to investigate cruelty to animal complaints. We work directly with dozens of law enforcement agencies on a regular basis, providing tips and logistical support, especially in the rural areas of Louisiana, where there are few resources for animals.
