Meet Thomas. He's not a piece of garbage is he? Well thats no what one local vet thought. After he was dumped at a high kill shelter Thomas saw a vet close to the shelter and the vet actually asked the volunteer "Why would you waste money on this dog?” To say they were horrified is an understatement. Why would he not matter?
Thankfully our partners at Rescue Dogs Rock stepped up to save this innocent victim’s life. He's had a rough life as you can see. He was dumped at a NC shelter in critical condition. He looks awful and no doubt feels the same way. He just lies there and doesn't move or walk.
The photos from his new vet show his horrific condition. His skin is awful, his eyes infected, his ears torn up and he limps because on of his legs is missing the ball at the knee and will likely need amputation. On top of everything else his teeth were filed down to the nerve of each tooth. RDR is heartbroken for this poor dog, but will do their best to get him healthy and give him the life he deserves but they can’t do that without you!
Imagine what his life has been like, suffering, lonely and in pain. It's absolutely heartbreaking. He's likely lived a life of pain and suffering! Doesn't he deserve a chance at being a beloved family member? YES HE DOES! We promise you, we will not give up in our fight to right this wrong, and we know that you won't either.
