Tres Leches was found eating paper to fill her empty belly.
This is one of the worst cases I have seen in a very long time. A volunteer with New York Bully Crew, Karina, is a volunteer in Peru. She was walking to the market when she notices a small dogs body on the side of the road. This starving girl was so desperate for food that she was eating paper to full her stomach.
New York Bully Crew knew if they didn’t step in the puppy would die in the streets. They have named her Tres Leches.
Then the worst happened. One hour later, that same volunteer, found two tiny puppies who were starving and with scabies. The volunteer was told by local that the two babies were were neglected for a very long time then they were thrown into the street after a marriage had broken up.
The wife refused to care for the puppies any longer. If New York Bully Crew didn’t step in to save these puppies then just like Tres Leches they too would die in the streets. Now New York Bully Crew has three horribly abused dogs that ALL need your help! You can donate to New York Bully Crew directly or consider purchasing one of these items and help support NYBC and Tres Leches.
UPDATE 5-31-19: We sent out an email on Tres Leche on memorial day. She is one of 3 puppies rescued on the same exact day. Their names are Tres Leche, Paula and Palma. All three are safe in the animal refuge in Peru. The two puppies Paula and Palma both have eye infections that are being treated. They are slowly being introduced to food.
We have created the animal saving products you see below to help raise the funds needed to cover the costs to save all three.
