Valentino was found in Honduras with cancerous tumors engulfing his face.
He was found in the streets of Honduras. I know these pictures are hard to look at but he needs us. We can't imagine the discomfort this boy has been in. How did a young pup get in this severe shape? We ask if you can please contribute to his medical treatment and give him the life saving emergency care he needs.
Valentino was sleeping on the streets, with rotting flesh, severe sticker tumors everywhere, fleas, ticks, emaciated and just in overall awfulness terrible shape. His condition is heartbreaking. Valentino’s neck was tied with a rope that had never been taken off since he was a puppy. He was found with a large, long broken rope still tied around his neck.
His rescuer had to walk home for miles at night carrying him in her arms as the taxis refused to allow her in the cars. She was able to find one that would drive her but had to pay double the fare. Sadly this is the reality we live in.
Valentino was immediately put onto chemotherapy for the tumors that have engulfed his face. He had late night emergency care for flea and tick treatment and blood-work. Results are pending and he will be returning to the hospital ASAP for further treatment. We need your help to continue to give him the top notch care he deserves.
UPDATE: 2-11-18: First round of chemotherapy down. As Valentino waits for his second chemo treatment for his sticker tumors, you can see how the antibiotics are helping his neck wound heal. Please contribute to his care here. Sadly, he must be segregated from the other animals because the sticker tumors are currently contagious while still undergoing treatment.
UPDATE 5-22-19: Rescuers have spent the last 3 months giving Valentino life saving chemotherapy. The tumors that have taken over his body are all gone and he has completely healed. During chemo doctors had to remove one of his eyes but were hoping the other eye could be saved. Now his remaining eye is no longer working will need to be removed. Although Valentino may be blind but you would never know! He runs endplays just like another dog. Please continue to help support his care.
Cases like these take thousands of dollars to save and that's just not the kind of funds New York Bully Crew has. So, we have stepped in to help. We have created the Animal Abuse Awareness shirts, hoodies, totes and bracelets you see below. We ask that if you would consider one of these items below. It's a great way to show family and friends that not only do you have a cute shirt but you helped save his life.
