XO was found wandering the streets of Brockton, Massachusetts, all alone and in terrible condition. He had no collar or microchip, and was taken in by the City of Brockton Animal Control. What we learned next will break your hearts like it did ours.
We named him XO. He as been abused and neglected his entire life. When he arrived at the shelter he only weighed 15 pounds. XO is so malnourished that the vets can't even tell how old he is. XO has the worst case of mange and infection rescuers have ever seen. His neck is so rotted that hi tissue is exposed. XO's lymph nodes are very swollen they look like he has tennis balls in my neck.
Despite his health issues, XO was an extremely happy little guy. He is so happy to finally be saved that he has what they call "happy tail." Which is caused from wagging my tail too much!
XO loves to sit in your lap and just take in his surroundings. Authorities still haven't found out who did this to him, but hopefully they will soon. If you can help XO on his journey to get better please share this story and consider purchasing one of my t-shirts designs with rescuers at Second Chance
XO and Second Chance Rescue need your help today. With your purchases, you can rewrite XO's story.
