Cheers: Abused & beaten with a rope tied around her neck!
Cheers was found abused and beaten with a rope tied around her neck so tight she could barely eat or breathe.
Fulton County Animal Services picked Cheers up after two Good Samaritans came across this poor pup, downtrodden, alone and fighting to survive. When they gave the pup some food, she was choking and couldn't swallow a bite due to a rope that was tied around her neck so tight, nothing could pass through. The pup, now named Cheers, also had swollen shut eyes that were full of puss and her head is swollen, most likely due to lack of circulation from the tight rope.
Currently, Cheers is in the hands of the greatest, Second Chance Rescue in New York, where she is residing at their vet for treatment and procedures. Rescuers are unsure how, when or obviously why this occurred, but are making sure that Cheers is here to live happily again. Results are pending.
