St. Vincent had his mouth shut with tape, taped in a trash bag and dumped in a dumpster.

I am so angry. A senior dog was found with his mouth taped shut taped inside of a plastic garbage bag and thrown away in a dumpster in Brooklyn. I know this is extremely graphic and hard to see especially this close to the Holidays but in animal rescue we don’t get a day off. Even on Christmas. We are desperate for your support.

He was left in a plastic bag with his mouth bound in tape so no one could hear his cries. But someone did hear him and called police. As bad as this seems, St. Vincent has known a lifetime of it. Rescuers at New York Bully Crew has stepped in to save the now named St. Vincent. He is a beautiful 10-year-old shepherd mix. He is very docile and friendly, which only adds to the outrage as to how someone could have so terribly abused such gentle a dog.

"This didn't happen overnight" Dr. Levitzke said ( Vincent Doctor) . "He was barely breathing," said Carla Mohan, of the New York Bully Crew. "He was bleeding from his nose, like I said, his mouth was taped up. They removed that. He was covered in urine. He has complete urine scalds all over his body.” Doctors had to shave away his fur to treat the infections from long-term urine scalds. ABC incorrectly reported that St. Vincent was adopted. A correction has already been made and NYBC has already issued several statements. This dog is still very critical and still needs your help. People are unfortunately spreading it around.

New York Bully Crew will make sure they are very good years. Still, they're hoping someone knows who did this. "Someone is going to recognize him, and that's our hope," Dr. Levitzke said. "Someone will come forward so there can be some justice.”

Now we are focused on saving his life. We cannot do this without you. m and that he is safe. We will not give up on him and we hope you won’t too. His care will cost tens of thousands of dollars. That is just not the type of funds New York Bully Crew has. W have stepped in to help in our own little way. We have created the Animal Abuse Awareness shirts, hoodies, totes and bracelets you see below. We ask that if you would consider one of these items below. It's a great gift to give to family and friends and you get to tell them not only did they get a cute shirt but they helped save St. Vincent.

UPDATE 1/4/2018

Our big boy made some more progress and has made his way walking around the ICU with rear assistance. This is a HUGE step in the right direction! He does get a bit winded and needs to rest after taking steps but he is NOT GIVING UP AND NEITHER ARE WE! He has a lot of life left and to think someone filled with evil wanted to put out this bright shining light breaks our hearts. We have created the Animal Abuse Awareness shirts, hoodies, totes and bracelets you see below. We ask that if you would consider one of these items to help cover Vincent's emergency care. Together we can save him!

$8,000 REWARD

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO FIND HIS ABUSER! There is a $8,000 REWARD! Currently the reward amount for any information leading to the arrest and indictment of Saint Vincent's abuser is $8100 put together by supporters that wish to seek justice for this innocent animal. The Animal Advocate community is enraged and this evil behavior must be stopped and harsh punishment must be served.Anyone with information on Saint Vincent’s torture(s)/person(s) who may have dumped him is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS. Our hopes are maybe someone will step forward and provide vital information. Thank you and Saint Vincent thanks you all for your love, prayers and support!
